Will information about customers be provided to outside third parties?

Our general policy is to not share or disclose non-public personal information about a customer or former customer to non-affiliated parties. However, there are some cases where information about our customers or their accounts and transactions with us must be provided to a third party. Information may be disclosed for the following reasons:

  • The customer requests or authorizes the disclosure.
  • The information is disclosed to process a transaction initiated by the customer.
  • The information is disclosed to a reputable credit bureau or similar information reporting agency.
  • The information is disclosed to a vendor in order to provide support for one of our services that the customer has requested, such as check printing.
  • The disclosure otherwise is lawfully permitted or required, such as a response to a subpoena.
